What clients ask first.
- How long until we see a usable result?
- A first connection is usually in place considerably faster than a new application, often within a few weeks. It requires that the systems involved are accessible and that it is settled which system owns which data. That is what we establish first.
- How is the work billed?
- A bounded connection is quoted at a fixed price. Where a third-party interface has to be worked out first, the effort cannot honestly be quantified in advance – we then bill for time and agree a ceiling with you.
- Who owns the source code and the data?
- The integration source code is yours. Credentials and keys stay in your hands. We work with the permissions each step requires and no broader ones.
- What do we need to provide internally?
- Access to the systems involved and one contact per system. Where a vendor first has to enable or licence an interface, that should be set in motion early – in our experience it is the most common cause of delay.
- Who operates and maintains the solution afterwards?
- Integrations need attention whenever a connected system changes. We set up monitoring so that failures surface before they reach the process. Whether you or we respond is your decision.
